If you did not purchase a yearbook in September when you paid your student fees and would like to purchase one, please come to the office to pick up a Yearbook order form. The cost of the yearbook is $35. Orders are due by April 24, 2018. Please give your order form and payment to Mrs. Eaglestone.

LIFETOUCH – RETAKES – GRADE 9 GRAD PHOTOS
Lifetouch will be here March 28th to do Grade 9 Grad photo retakes or take photos for students who were not here February 27th! Proofs have arrived. Your homeroom teacher will distribute. If you want to place an order, please give the order form to Mrs. Eaglestone by April 10th!

PASCAL MATH COMPETITION
Congratulations to our 38 - grade 9 students who participated in the University of Waterloo's Pascal Math Competition in late February. Students can see their math teacher for their individual results in the competition.
Astral Drive had 4 students who scored in the top 25% of all competitors in North America. These students will receive a Certificate of Distinction for their outstanding results. These four students are:

GIRLS’ GET WISE SCIENCE RETREAT
MSVU - The Women in Science and Engineering – Atlantic Region (WISEatlantic) Program aims to shift gendered STEM stereotypes. They empower girls to consider Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM)-based careers by raising girls’ awareness of the diversity of jobs within these fields, and enabling them to visualize themselves working in these fields.
WISEAtlantic is hosting our annual one-day Girls Get WISE Science Retreat for girls in grades 7-10 on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Mount Saint Vincent University. This event is a great opportunity for girls to try exciting hands-on STEM activities and explore STEM careers by chatting with female role models. Price is $10 and includes lunch.
