COINS FOR SUPPORT
There are times when everyone depends on their friends and community to support those around them. Astral Drive Junior High is a member of the local community and we are a strong family. We can assist others by everyone chipping in with just a little. A family within our community could use some support, and as a school, we thought we should assist. Each homeroom is asked to gather coins: nickels, dimes, quarters, loonies and toonies. Bring your spare change after lunch, your change jar from home etc. On Thursday, October 26th (changed from Monday, October 20th, we will make messages of support with our collected coins and donate the proceeds to a local fundraiser supporting the members of our school community.
Each homeroom class gets to design their own message- so the more you bring the cooler and bigger the message could be! Bring your change to your homeroom teacher this week!
Our first school dance will take place October 26th from 6:30-8:30pm. Cost of the dance is $6. If you would like to invite a guest, the Dance Guest Permission form is due to be given to Mrs. Eaglestone today!
